Luxor Temple not Casino

August 15, 2010

On our way back to the hotel we stopped for a short visit at Luxor Temple.  The picture with us all lined up in the shade of the single tree always makes me laugh because we totally didn’t do that on purpose.  Down here at the bottom, the carving is showing the Pharaoh being doused in Ankhs -the symbol of life, or even eternal life.

Credits: The papers and embellishments are from the kit “Promise” downloaded for free from Shabby; however, the fancy alphabet in the top postpagepicture “Luxor Temple” is from the kit “Sun Porch” and the font is CenturyGothic. As always, I use Paint.NET to put these scrapbook pages together.
