Caesarea, its aqueduct, and Elijah smiting

April 29, 2011

The above scrapbook page was fun to make, although it took me awhile especially since I didn’t want any of the edges to be uniformly square. I was hoping to make it look like a scrapbook in progress, like it wasn’t quite done yet. Does it have that effect?

The road up Mount Carmel was tight and winding all the way to the top making us all a little car-sick because the drivers drive in a mad hurry. The way down was a little more dizzifying because we went a little faster around those tight curves. But at the top there was a cool statue of Elijah smiting, a small church, and a little garden-type area.
